Background

The original name for Balmashie was Polduff, when it was a small farm. It then changed to Winchester’s Polduff, when Captain Winchester purchased the property in the 19th century. Over the years, it became shortened to Winchester, before changing to Balmashie in 2000.

 

Description

Cottage 8 is a 2 storey 6-person units with three twin bedrooms. This cottage offers the perfect place for a tranquil family get together, with a sheltered patio, giving breathtaking views over the East Neuk of Fife. On the ground floor there is an entrance porch with a cloakroom, a living area to one side and a dining/kitchen area to the other. From the living area, patio doors open out to your own private patio with garden furniture. On the first floor there are three twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and a bathroom with bath and over-bath shower.
