Please find below some general information regarding your stay at Balmashie. If we've missed anything please feel free to call us on 01334 880 666 with any questions you may have.
- We take bookings for two nights onwards from any day of the week to suit our guests. Our philosophy is 'if it's available you can have it'.
- Your cottage is available for entry by 4.00 p.m. on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the morning of your departure to allow for cleaning. Early arrival and late departure are by prior arrangement only. Please leave your cottage in a reasonable state to help us present it in the condition you received it for the next guests.
- In Cottages 1 to 9 we have provided pull-down double bed settees in the living rooms. Thus a 4-person cottage can actually sleep 6 people. Bed linen is not provided for the bed settee. If available, additional crockery can be provided on request.
- Cots, high chairs and stair gates are available to hire on request. You should bring your own cot bedding. A shower seat and toilet aid is also available on request for cottage 3 and a bath seat for all other cottages.
- On booking, a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the tariff is due within 7 days to confirm. The balance is due 4 weeks before arrival. Bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival should be paid in full at the time of booking.
- In the unfortunate event of a cancellation we will make every effort to re-let your cottage to a third party. If this proves impossible, the balance will be forfeited.
- Cottages 1 to 9 have telephones provided and all calls made will be paid on departure. All electricity is included in the tariffs except at times in the case of special offers. Linen and towels are included in the price.
- There is an inventory in your cottage brochure. You should check this and report any missing items at once to the office. We reserve the right to charge for any breakages made during your stay.
- Please use all our facilities but adults should accompany children under 14 whilst using the golf facilities and games room.
- Pets are allowed in selected cottages only. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times outwith your cottage. All pets must be kept off the furniture during your stay.
- To allow all our guests to enjoy their stay, you are asked to conduct yourself in a reasonable manner whilst staying with us and we reserve the right to request the immediate departure of any guest who, in our opinion, does not comply with this condition.
